Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
We just celebrated the joyous occasion of Easter. Are those praise songs and beautiful ceremonies still lingering in your mind? When Jesus’ disciples came to the tomb on that first Easter Sunday, it was an entirely different scene. They were shocked and confused to find the empty tomb. Jesus’ resurrection changed everything entirely and gave them new hope. That Sunday marked the beginning of their charge to tell every person in the world about this good news!
Jesus said, “I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself” (John 12:32). Before He ascended to heaven, He commissioned his disciples, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).
Today, with the power of Jesus, the Great Commission is being carried out in many parts of the world! We invite you to be part of this Great Commission. You can start by joining our Short-Term Mission Team this summer. Perhaps you hesitate because you have never done it before. Here are some testimonies and sharing of some first-timers from previous years. The registration deadline is May 14.(Click here) Please prayerfully consider this trip to sow the seeds of salvation in the land of Taiwan.
Psalm 2:8 says, “Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.” To join the team, it is not necessary for you to have any teaching experience or be able to speak Chinese. We are recruiting any faithful, born-again Christian who has a heart for lost souls and a desire to proclaim the Gospel. SOW will provide all necessary teaching material, both in Chinese and English, and will conduct two sessions of training to prepare you before the trip. What an opportunity to experience the presence of God, and the satisfaction of being used to bring someone to the Lord! “And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’” (Romans 10:15)
May we continue to praise, worship, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ!
Yours in Christ,
