Sister Sue Chen joining SOW board of directors

We are very happy to be able to invite Sister Sue Chen to become the sixth board member of SOW after all five current board members voted for adding her to the board of directors. We look forward to relying on her talents and experience in business expansion to help us establish our future strategy for expanding our ministries globally. If you are interested, please visit the “Our Team” webpage of our website to see the biographies of our board members and production team members as well as a list of volunteers.

The following is the biography of Sister Sue Chen.

Sue Chen graduated from the Department of Chinese Literature, Soochow University, Taipei, Taiwan. She came to the United States in 1983 to pursue a graduate degree in Mass Communications. By chance she founded an import and export freight forwarding company in 1988. After the initial success of that company, she founded ROBO Cellular Company in 1991. Then, in 1997 she founded Yestel Inc., a long distance telephone service company, which impressed mainstream telecommunications companies, and as a result was a target of acquisition by several public companies in 2005. In 2007 Sue decided to give something back to the community, so she started Cheers Body and Mind Health Center and has been running it since then.

Sue met Jesus in 2009. God’s grace and love poured down upon her, so after two months she became the first Christian in her whole family. Previously she only knew to seek people’s approval, but now she whole-heartedly pursues God’s glory. God moved her to continually choreograph dances for praising the Lord, and she serves as a volunteer to teach such praise dancing in many churches. She also enthusiastically participates in the oversea short-term mission of Spring of Water International Ministries and supports various other ministries that are doing God’s great commission.
